I am a current student at Colorado Media School. I am learning the ins and outs of the radio and TV broadcasting media. Learning the cameras and editing the video captured has been the most enjoyable aspects of my student life. I am aiming to get into film and I am pursuing my path to become a director. I am also learning the Adobe suite to be able to open the possibilities of my creation skills.
I moved to Estes Park, CO in February 2008 from Hendersonville, NC. It’s amazing to see mountains every day. It’s also amazing to see how different mountain ranges can be in different areas of the country. The Blue Ridge Mountains in and around Hendersonville, while beautiful, really don’t measure up when compared to the Rocky Mountains here in Colorado.
I left a career of twelve years in construction to pursue something that I have always wanted to do. I love movies and I want to make my own. I want to make movies that I would like to see, and make them my own way. I love Sci-fi, action, and comedy movies. I want to focus on making comedies, and bring my sense of humor to the screen and find my audience. I believe the world needs more laughter and I want to deliver. I am definitely not politically correct and I can laugh at just about anything. I am sure I will offend many people with my movies, but you can be sure I will be having fun while doing it.
Leaving my career in construction really was a scary move, but I don’t regret it. I was definitely burnt out with it and I dreaded waking up having to go to work. Now, I am excited to wake up every day and learn something new that is going to help me get to me to my goal.
